Crates Direct USA, LLC ("Crates Direct," "we," "us," or "our") builds custom shipping crates and packing solutions. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit www.cratesdirectusa.com (the "Site"), request a quote, or contact us, and how we use and protect it.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you fill out a quote form, call, text, or email us, we collect the information you choose to share, such as:

Your name, job title, company, email address, and phone number
Details about your shipment, such as the products or batteries you need crated, dimensions, weights, quantities, pickup location, and timeline
Photos, files, or messages you send us

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the page that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies described in Section 4.

2. How we use your information

To respond to your quote request and questions, and to prepare quotes
To communicate with you by phone, text message, or email about your request, order, or project
To design, build, and deliver the crates and services you order
To send invoices and manage billing for completed work
To measure how well our website and advertising work, and to improve them
To keep the Site secure, prevent fraud and spam, and comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

3. How we share your information

We share information only as needed to run our business, including with:

Website and form providers: our Site and quote forms are hosted by Wix.com, which stores form submissions and contact details on our behalf.
Accounting and billing providers: we use QuickBooks to send invoices and process payments after a project is agreed.
Advertising and analytics providers: we use Google Ads to understand which ads lead to quote requests (see Section 4).
Shipping and logistics partners, when needed to deliver your order.
Legal and safety reasons: when required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers, or others.
Business transfers: if our business is sold or merged, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Cookies and advertising

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are needed for the Site and forms to work. Others are used by Google to measure our advertising, for example to record that a visitor who clicked one of our Google ads later submitted a quote request. Google's use of this data is governed by Google's own privacy policy. You can learn how Google uses information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com, and block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.

The Site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address when a page loads.

5. Phone calls and text messages

If you call or text us, or give us your phone number on a quote form, we may call or text you about your request. Message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop texting you at any time by replying STOP or by contacting us using the details below.

6. How long we keep information

We keep quote requests and customer records for as long as needed to respond to you, complete and support your orders, keep proper business and tax records, and meet legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.

7. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, and the Site is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing support@cratesdirectusa.com. Depending on the state where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. We will respond to requests as required by applicable law and will not treat you differently for making a request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

9. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Links to other websites

The Site may link to websites we do not operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites, and we encourage you to read their policies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page and change the effective date at the top.
